this actually means that all the 3rd year students of Kasr El-Einy Medical School will be in the hibernating state from now on until the day of exams^^

hibernate=home=books=winter=cold=growling stomach=eating too much?

haha i thnk dats common during study leave period rite?there'll be xtra food intake than usual.in 2/3 weeks after,there must be a lil bit changes happened to u.either ppl will say, 'amboi minah, makin 'sihat' nampak' or 'eh, buccal pad of fat ko makin prominent lah' and so on~

pardon my ramblings.ngeh3 :p

what i want to say actually is, it depends on u how to make this short period either meaningful or not. either u want to make it as a period to gain extra rewards from Allah and make urself closer to Him than before, or it's also can be a period that farther u from ur deen n ur God!

how can it happen?

lets take a look to these conditions,

miss A studied very hard, she slept only 4hours at night..but she abandoned her duties at home, and even her ukhuwwah with her housemates. she performed solah early, but by herself.she didnt wait others to pray in jamaah, and she did the 'ibadah wajib' only. no solah sunnah ba3diyah or hajat,and she even ignored her previous habit in reciting quran, bcoz it will cut her study time.her nervousness to face exams changed her totally into self-centred person.

and yes, she got mumtaz in her exams.

while miss B, she also studied hard, but during the study leave period she did more than before.she cooked greater meals for her housemates.usually she only read quran half of juzu' per day, but in that period she read a juzu' in a day.in the late of night she never missed qiyamullail, and her last 'sujud' in solah and her du'aa will take a longer time.she never hesitated to offer her help to others when she asked to, even it took hours of her time.

but she only got jayyid for her result.

hmm wut do u thnk? who's better actually?

a sister once told me, that our result was already written in luh mahfuz a long time before.He already knew, what we'll get in our exams.but is it the result that will be counted in our deeds account by roqib and atid?of course it is NOT. but the thing is, ppl always tend to look at the results, and not the efforts. and we ppl also thnk that 'EFFORTS' means u haf to read tons of books day and night, and leave other things not related to ur study, and even abandon ur God!

so dear sisters,do as best as u can in this period of exams. this period is just like a garden with ripe fruits, either we want to harvest it or leave it behind. which means that this is the time where we can gain extra rewards from Him, bcoz it is the efforts that will be counted, not the results. and 'EFFORTS' are including the time u reserve to do ur duties as a friend, as a daughter of ur parents, and as a slave of ur God,even when we still haf mountains of books to read.

got my points? alhamdulillah^^

Lets pray together, may our efforts during this study-leave-period will bring profit to us, in dunya and akhirah~

and not to forget, lets put our tawakal as highest as we can. tawakal is not done just during a day before exam, or during the minute u step into the exam's hall, or when u hold ur pen to answer the question. it is a big NO. tawakal shud be performed from the start. from the very soon after u set ur niah in learning medicine.or anything. remember, tawakal is accompanied by efforts. and both must equally balanced :)

just wanna share a hadith, it may benefit u when u feel bored of studying :p

yang tak mengetahuinya adalah sedekah

Memberikan perbelanjaan kepada
ahlinya adalah qurbah
